BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) provides sustainable, all electirc train service to San Francisco bound visitors from around the world. BART trains operate daily service from San Francisco (SF) International (SFO) and Oakland International (OAK) airports to 4 downtown SF stations and 41 stations throughout the Bay Area. Trains operate to/from SFO 3-4 times an hour throughout the day until 11:50PM daily. The ride from SFO to SF takes 30 minutes and costs $8.65 one way or $17.30 round trip. Purchasing round trip ticket is recommended and can be purchased online in advance. BART trains to/from OAK to the Coliseum station operate every 5 minutes from 8:00AM to 8:00PM daily. The ride to SF costs $10.05 each way and takes 35 t0 40 minutes.
